May Lego Club!

It was a sunny Saturday and the sunlight filled the program room while we built the creations above. There are great stories going on within each creation, with mighty battles waging. We welcomed a new member, which was really great. Lego Club will not take place on the 3rd Saturday during June, July and  August, but check out the summer calendar for a Thursday in August, when we will have a summer drop-in Lego Meet for ages 6 - 12!

APRIL LEGO CLUB!

The grass is getting green and the sun is getting warm with Spring here! There was a chill in the air today and some gray skies so it was a perfect day for the Lego Club to have some fun. We made some new friends, which was awesome - and a mom helped find some missing mini-figs with the help of some children. It was great!! The mini-fig bag is filled and ready to play next month. Today's imaginations were working away. You will see ships, both flying and sailing, bikes, vehicles and even a classroom at the River Valley Charter School. Good to see everyone again. February 2013 Lego Club Day!

A chilly day but our dedicated Lego builders were found here at the library, building amazing structures. We were lucky to have our teen librarian, Jessica Hilbun, host Lego Club for us. She told me she had the best time and loved when the kids told her about what they were making. Thank you for taking these great photos, Jessica, so we can share them with everyone!

Lego Club - October 2012 - Pirates!

Lego Club was a blast today! Pirates was the theme and we had some amazing pirate ships and pirate space ships. The ships had all sorts of clever devices, including heat shields!.  It was great to meet some new friends and see old friends, too! Thanks for coming everyone - I had a super time!
