Next Meeting

The next meeting of the Lego Club will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2010 (after a holiday hiatus!) The theme for this meeting will be: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles! We will be meeting from 2:30 - 3:30; parents, please note the new ending time. Please be at the library Program Room to pick up your child at 3:30; a librarian will stay until 4:00 for any child that wants to continue to build. Also note, the Lego Club is open to the first 25 children to arrive at the library, numbers will be available beginning at 2:15. Children must be ages 6 - 12 to participate. Please call the Children's Room at 978-465-4428 if you have any questions.

3rd Meeting of the Newburyport Public Library's Lego Club!

The 3rd meeting of the Newburyport Public Library Lego Club was held on Saturday, November 14. The wind and rain didn't stop our Lego builders one bit! The theme for the month was Castles. Lego members listened to a story about medieval times, back when Robin Hood first met Little John. We talked about the different parts of a castle and then the building began! 2nd Meeting!
The second meeting of the Newburyport Public Library's new Lego Club was held on October 17, 2009. These are photos of the amazing creations built by the talented members. Our theme of the day was Halloween! The next meeting will be held on November 14, 2009 and our theme will be Castles!

First Meeting!

A very successful first meeting of the Lego Club! Here are the pictures of the pirate structures that were built. The next meeting will be Saturday, October 17 from 2:30 - 4:00 and our theme will be Halloween!

First Meeting!

The first meeting of the Newburyport Public Library's new Lego Club will be Saturday, September 19 from 2:30 - 4:00 in the Program Room. Children ages six and up are welcome to attend. Our theme for the first week will be pirates! This is a drop in program requiring no sign up but we will start promptly at 2:30 to allow children ample building time.
If you have Lego's you would like to donate to the library please drop them off at the Children's Desk.
